Bergamot
Cold-pressed oil from the peel of the bergamot orange (Citrus bergamia), a small, sour citrus fruit. Bright, fresh and slightly floral-bitter, it is one of the most used top notes in perfumery and a classic ingredient of eau de Cologne.
Origin Most of the world’s bergamot is grown on the coast of Calabria, in southern Italy.
