Ambergris
A waxy substance formed in the digestive system of sperm whales and aged by sun and sea. Salty, musky, warm and skin-like. Natural ambergris is rare and costly, so most perfumes use synthetic molecules such as Ambroxide (Ambrox) instead.
Origin Found washed up on coastlines around the world.
